Plan access beneath the chest for the drain and servicing. Sunstone’s installation sheet calls for one foot of clearance below the counter and sealing around the perimeter with clear silicone. Have the installer check the actual unit, countertop opening and drainage arrangement before cutting; drainage must meet applicable local requirements. The dimensions above follow the model-specific drawing, not the nominal 28-inch product name.
