Complete the mounting plan for a compatible SunStar SGL35 patio heater with the matching heat-shield kit. Choose black powder coat or marine-grade stainless steel to suit the heater finish.

  • Black powder-coat option: store SKU 566300; for the matching SGL35 black-finish heater.
  • Marine stainless-steel option: store SKU 566350; for the matching SGL35 marine heater.
  • Manufacturer-approved heat-shield mounting angles are 0°, 15°, 30°, 45° and 60°, subject to the complete installation instructions.
  • These are SGL35 heat shields; SunStar specifies different heat-shield part numbers for SGL50 heaters.
  • Heat-shield kit only. Heaters and mounting brackets pictured are not included.

A heat shield changes the permitted clearances, but it does not create one clearance that applies to every installation. Follow the clearance chart for the exact heater, mounting angle and indoor or outdoor location. The matching shield is required when using the fixed 10-inch outdoor horizontal ceiling-mount kit.
