Bring focused radiant warmth to a patio seating area, terrace or covered outdoor living space with the Infratech WD-3024. The 33-inch WD-Series profile combines a stainless-steel finish with 3,000-watt dual quartz elements that warm people and solid surfaces directly.

  • Model: WD-3024 SS; 3,000 watts, 240 volts, 12.5 amps.
  • Dual-element heater in standard 304 stainless steel; this listing is the stainless-steel finish, not a powder-coated color or optional 316 marine upgrade.
  • Heater body: 33 inches long × 8-3/16 inches wide × 3 inches deep, excluding mounting brackets and junction-box projection. Consult the factory drawing for the complete installed envelope.
  • Standard wall/ceiling swivel mounting brackets are included. Controls, specialized mounting accessories and branch-circuit materials are sold separately.
  • For wall or ceiling surface mounting. A separately purchased, correctly sized W/WD flush-mount frame is required for a recessed installation in a flat, non-sloped ceiling; follow its dedicated drawing.
  • Use a properly rated duplex/stack switch or compatible Infratech custom control selected for the heater load; controls are sold separately.
  • This permanently installed heater must be hardwired and serviced by a licensed electrician. Match the site voltage to the heater rating label and follow NEC and local codes; outdoor wiring components must have a minimum IPX4 rating.
  • For surface mounting, maintain at least 6 inches behind the heater, 18 inches from its sides and ends, and 36 inches in front.
  • Wall mounting requires at least 12 inches below the ceiling and a downward angle of 30–60 degrees. Ceiling mounting requires at least 6 inches below the ceiling and a maximum 30-degree angle. Minimum floor clearance is 6 feet for a UL-labeled heater or 8 feet for a UL/CUL-labeled heater. Follow the complete manual, rating label and installation-specific instructions.
  • Keep the quartz tube horizontally level. Coverage varies with mounting height, exposure and wind; a planning estimate is not a guaranteed heated area.
  • Do not leave powered heaters unattended. Disconnect power and let the heater cool completely before cleaning; dry it fully before restoring power.
