Bring clear, slow-melting gourmet cubes to your home bar or kitchen with the Scotsman SCC50 Brilliance ice maker. Its slim 15-inch-class cabinet produces up to 65 pounds of ice per day under the manufacturer's specified test conditions and stores up to 26 pounds, helping keep cocktails and everyday refreshments ready to serve.
Choose a gravity drain or a factory-installed drain pump, along with a finished stainless-steel door or an unfinished, panel-ready front. Outdoor approval is model specific: the SCCG50MB-1SS and SCCP50MB-1SS stainless-door models are outdoor approved within the operating limits below. The SCCG50MB-1SU and SCCP50MB-1SU unfinished-front models are for indoor installation only.
- SCCG50MB-1SU: unfinished panel-ready front, gravity drain, indoor use.
- SCCP50MB-1SU: unfinished panel-ready front, factory drain pump, indoor use.
- SCCG50MB-1SS: stainless-steel cabinet and finished stainless-steel door, gravity drain, indoor or permitted outdoor use.
- SCCP50MB-1SS: stainless-steel cabinet and finished stainless-steel door, factory drain pump, indoor or permitted outdoor use.
Panel-ready models require a separately supplied decorative panel or compatible manufacturer door-front kit. Custom panels must not exceed 15 lb.; follow the linked template for thickness, height and attachment. Photos illustrate the stainless-steel configuration. Custom panels, door-front kits and display contents are not included.
Clean and descale the ice-making system, sanitize the bin and clean the condenser as instructed. The storage bin is for ice, not beverage bottles. Outdoor-approved models still require protection from freezing and the manufacturer's winterization procedure when appropriate.
Scotsman's consumer warranty lists one year of parts-and-labor coverage for SCC models, plus four additional years of compressor-parts coverage only. Coverage applies to the original purchaser-user in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, subject to proper installation, maintenance, registration and the full policy. Older floor-display units have different terms; review the linked warranty statement.
