Bring clear ice to a wet bar or sheltered outdoor kitchen while keeping the look of your cabinetry. The Summit BIM68OSGDRIF combines a panel-ready door, a compact 15-inch-class cabinet and gravity drainage.

This listing describes the legacy 62-lb-per-day, R134a configuration documented in Summit's 2025 model literature. It is separate from the later 47-lb-per-day, R600a revision published under the same model name.

  • Produces clear gourmet-style ice and stores up to 26 lb in the insulated ice bin. Actual output varies with air and water temperatures and installation conditions.
  • Gravity drainage requires a properly pitched connection to a suitable drain; this configuration does not include an internal drain pump.
  • An integrated frame accepts a custom door panel. The decorative wood panel shown in photographs and the customer-supplied handle are not included.
  • 304 stainless steel exterior, front ventilation and frost-free operation.
  • Choose the factory right- or left-hinged version before ordering. The integrated-frame door is not field-reversible.
  • An ice scoop and interior scoop holder keep serving convenient.

Photos show the right-hinged configuration; select the door swing needed for your installation.

  • Right-hinged model: BIM68OSGDRIF. Left-hinged model: BIM68OSGDRIFLHD.
  • Manufacturer-listed daily production for this legacy configuration: up to 62 lb per 24 hours; ice storage: 26 lb.
  • Cabinet capacity: 0.98 cu. ft.
  • Ice size: approximately 1¼ inches high × 1⅛ inches wide × 1⅛ inches deep.
  • Electrical: 115 V AC, 60 Hz; manufacturer-listed current: 4.0 A.
  • Legacy refrigerant: R134a, 7.4 oz.
  • Net weight: 105 lb.
  • ETL and ETL-C electrical listings; ETL-S sanitation listing to NSF-12.
  • Cabinet width: 14⅞ inches. Manufacturer-listed depth: 22⅝ inches. Confirm finished depth with the chosen custom panel and handle.
  • Height to hinge cap: 33⅝ inches; cabinet height: 33½ inches.
  • Manufacturer-listed depth with door open 90°: 37¼ inches.
  • Required custom panel: 14⅞ inches wide × 29⁹⁄₁₆ inches high × ¾ inch thick.

These are appliance dimensions, not a finished cabinet cutout. Allow space for the water and drain connections, leveling, ventilation, door movement and service access. The custom panel and handle affect finished depth. Use the linked model drawing and installation manual when planning cabinetry.

Professional installation is required. Provide a cold potable-water supply through a ¼-inch line at 20–80 psi, drainage and a grounded 115 V, 60 Hz supply on a 15-amp circuit. All electrical and plumbing connections must comply with applicable local codes. Do not use an extension cord. The gravity-drain installation requires the drain slope and air gap specified in the manual.

Keep the front grille unobstructed. Outdoor installation must be protected from wind, rain and water spray, within the manual's 50–100°F operating range and away from grills or other heat sources. Follow the cleaning and winterization instructions; frost-free operation does not eliminate routine cleaning.

Summit's model literature lists a one-year limited parts-and-labor warranty and five-year compressor coverage. Compressor replacement labor is excluded. Geographic restrictions, installation requirements and other terms apply; see the full warranty in the manual.
