For built-in installation, leave at least ¼ inch at each side and above the unit, plus 2 inches behind it. Freestanding installation requires 5 inches at the back and sides. Keep the front grille clear; do not install behind a cabinet door.

Use a sheltered outdoor location protected from wind, rain and water spray, away from grills and other heat sources. The manual recommends ambient temperatures of 60–90°F; extreme temperatures can affect cooling. Connect to a dedicated, properly grounded 115 V, 60 Hz outlet on a 15-amp circuit. Do not use an extension cord.

This is a beverage cooler, not storage for perishable food or medicine. Follow the manual for leveling, cleaning and safe handling of its flammable refrigerant.

Summit lists one year of limited parts-and-labor coverage and five years of compressor-parts coverage. Compressor replacement labor is excluded. Geographic, installation and other warranty restrictions apply; see the full terms in the manual.
