Have a qualified installer match the thermostat to the exact heater and its low-voltage wiring requirements. This is not a universal thermostat for every SunStar heater and must not be connected directly to line voltage. When one two-stage thermostat controls multiple N7/L7 heaters, SunStar specifies a separate 44195000 two-stage relay kit for each heater. Those relay kits, heaters and site wiring are not included.
Locate and install the control according to the heater and thermostat instructions. Do not interpret thermostat compatibility as approval to use an unvented patio heater inside a residence.
SunStar publishes the one-inch wiring-box recess requirement but does not give overall width, height and depth for this thermostat in the cited accessory specifications. Check the supplied thermostat and mounting instructions when planning the wall installation.
