Compatibility & Installation

  • Outdoor use only; remove the lid before lighting and never leave the burner operating unattended.
  • Choose the correct fuel variant. Have a qualified installer verify the rating plate, regulated gas supply, connections and ventilation.
  • Minimum side and rear wall clearances: 2 inches to noncombustible walls; 10 inches to protected combustible walls built as shown in the manual; 14 inches to combustible walls. A matching TrueFlame insulating liner is required in a combustible surround.
  • Allow at least 5 feet between the countertop and overhead construction. Under any overhead construction, use an exhaust hood larger than the cooking area, with a blower delivering at least 1,200 CFM outdoors. Never operate beneath unprotected combustible overhead construction.
  • Confirm the opening against the manual and actual appliance before cutting the finished island.
