This is a permanently installed, hardwired heater, not a plug-in unit. Have a licensed electrician install it to the manufacturer’s instructions and local requirements. Keep the heater’s long axis level; the swivel brackets allow adjustment up to 60 degrees. Maintain all required clearances: wall installations require at least 12 inches from the ceiling and 18 inches at the ends; ceiling installations require at least 18 inches from vertical surfaces, 6 inches above and 72 inches below. The control wall plate is not included. Heating coverage depends on mounting height and how exposed the location is.
