The factory sizing table lists this cover for an 8-foot ceiling when used with the matching 18-inch-tall hood, mounted 30 inches above a 36-inch-high cooking surface. Ceiling fit depends on those installation dimensions—not the cover height alone. Have your installer check the exact hood and available space before ordering.
