Dimensions

  • Manufacturer opening range: 35–38 in circular or square, according to the selected kit.
  • Plate size: 35 in diameter for circular selections, or 35 in × 35 in for square selections.
  • The opening range is not the burner footprint or the finished outside size of the fire pit. Confirm fit before ordering or building.

Compatibility & Installation

  • Outdoor decorative fire-feature use only; this is not a cooking or grill burner. Keep food and solid fuels away.
  • Have a qualified gas/plumbing professional verify fuel, supply capacity, connections, clearances and local-code requirements before installation.
  • For match-lit operation, supply pressure must be 3.5–7.0 in W.C. for natural gas or 11.0–13.0 in W.C. for liquid propane.
  • Use a stable, level, noncombustible enclosure with drainage, an accessible external gas shutoff and an unfilled lower cavity. The support structure, not the gas valve or line, must carry the assembly.
  • Maintain at least 36 in horizontal clearance to combustibles, measured from the top of the flame as shown in the manual, and 84 in vertically above the burner/plate. Recess the assembly 4–6 in below the enclosure top; review the complete clearance diagram before building.
  • Provide at least two opposing enclosure vents, each with at least 18 sq in of ventilation area. Larger enclosures or extended use may require more ventilation.
  • Use only approved outdoor fire-feature media with pieces at least 1/2 in in size; cover jets by no more than 1/2 in of media. Place media onto the plate or pan instead of dumping it over the burner, and follow the complete manual. Remove any cover before lighting and let the feature cool completely before covering.
  • Provide suitable noncombustible center support for the plate; manufacturer recommends it for round or square plates over 30 in.
